Message from the Chairman
On behalf of the Pakistan Club, I am pleased to inform you all that our Club website is operational and in service and now it can be fully utilized by our members and community.
The Pakistani community in Bahrain is a large and vibrant community, closely connected with our Bahraini brethren. We share similar beliefs, culture, traditions, religion and social norms. Pakistani community members have been living in the country since past many decades. The Kingdom of Bahrain is homeland to over 120,000 Pakistani people. This can be gauged from the fact that soon after the emergence of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in August 1947, the foundation of the ‘Pakistan Club’ in Bahrain was made in February 1948.
Pakistan Club is providing community services since its inception and celebrate all national days and major events at the Club. The elections of the Board of Directors were held in November 2021 and the new team is now working with full vigor and energy adding new avenues to help our members and community.
We have initiated the ‘Community Welfare Program’ whereby, physical and financial support is provided to the deserving people who are in need of urgent help. Medical support, food assistance, repatriation and solving their local issues are on the priority. The second initiative is of providing ‘Legal Support’ to the community to address their problems in Bahrain as well as in Pakistan.

The third community service initiated is Documentation Service’ providing assistance for obtaining documentation and completing the formalities required for NICOP, NADRA, passport and identity cards.
The Pakistani community along with our Bahraini brethren commemorated the 50th Bahrain National Day celebrations with great fervor and enthusiasm. Special programs were planned and held. Sports tournament was organized whereby Cricket Tournament, Hockey Tournament and Volleyball tournaments were organized. An exhibition cricket match was played between two local all- female teams at the Club premises. Grand Bahrain National Day Celebrations were held at the Club premises on 17th December 2021 in which winners and runners up of cricket, hockey and volleyball tournaments were recognized. Trophies and medals were given. Cake cutting ceremony was held.
Pakistan Club Bahrain has launched its First Monthly Newsletter ‘Manama Bahrain’ on this occasion addressing the main sectors of the community. The monthly newsletter was inaugurated by Excellency Mr. Ebrahim Al Nafae.
Under prevailing COVID-19 pandemic and social distancing norms, the community organized programs and events in various areas of the country to keep the momentum of celebrations which lasted till the end of the month showing our deep love and affection towards the Bahraini leadership and its people and signifying the dynamic role of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and Crown Prince and Prime Minister, His Royal Highness Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa to this beautiful country and friendly people of Bahrain.
We have made our Annual Plan of activities and will be updating on the website and WhatsApp group. I invite all of you to join hands with us in helping our community and our ongoing tasks in further strengthening our ties with our local brethren and the Kingdom of Bahrain.
